Catholic
Faith Technologies was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the
Student Assessment Solution category in The 18th Annual American
Business Awards® today. The winning nomination was “Strengthen Learning
Programs through Online Assessments and Predictive Learning.” The nomination was for The National
Catholic Educational Association’s Information for Growth program.
More
than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every
industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of
categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New
Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of
the Year, and App of the Year, among others. More than 230 professionals
worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie
Award winners.
“The
National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) offers tools to assess the
effectiveness of religious education programs over time. Partnering with the
Catholic Faith Technologies platform, they now offer their nationwide
assessment program online,” explains Jay Breeden, President of Catholic Faith
Technology. “This award-winning solution saves time and money, while reporting
allows for data-driven decisions and predictive learning opportunities. We
appreciate the judges’ feedback, such as - I really like this focus with
Religion on the backburner of people's lives these days. And the restriction of
in-person education and worship. I think the website is very high end and
helpful. Congratulations to all the
worthy winners of the 2020 Stevie Awards, it is humbling to be the company of
such innovative organizations.”
“Despite
the toughest business conditions in memory, American organizations continue to
demonstrate their commitment to innovation, creativity, and bottom-line
results,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “This year’s Stevie-winning nominations are
full of inspiring stories of persistence, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and
compassion.”

The Diocese of Jefferson City is an ecclesiastical territory of the Roman Catholic Church in the state of Missouri. The diocese consists of 38 counties in mainly rural northeastern and central Missouri. It also includes the urban areas of Columbia, as well as the state capital, Jefferson City. The diocese has 95 parishes, 40 schools, and serves 88,000 Catholics.
As a medium-sized diocese covering remote areas, having access to mobile technology was important for communicating and serving their community, teachers, and catechists. Recognizing the mixed quality of current catechist training, and struggling to coordinate programs that weren't as accessible as they would like, the diocese knew they needed an affordable online formation model. My Catholic Faith Delivered (MCFD) welcomes two new dioceses to the platform! Dioceses who demonstrated incredible determination to provide formation of the faith for today's learners.
Both the Diocese of Corpus Christi and the Diocese of Orlando were looking for a way to offer consistent learning on demand: anytime, anywhere, from any device, all while tracking progress toward certification. They selected MCFD as their technology partner to achieve these goals.
My Catholic Faith Delivered is the go-to Online Faith Formation Hub, an on demand technology solution for managing the learning life-cycle of your teachers and catechists. One single place for managing and tracking all your programs, both online and on-site.
Unfortunately, the dioceses' online journeys were interrupted by Hurricanes Irma and Harvey. As their priorities shifted to focus on their respective communities, parishes, parishioners and schools - they were challenged with communication interruptions, lack of internet and phones, and even difficulty in staffing day-to-day operations. Still, they remained committed to the process and determined to launch their new initiatives. MCFD, based in Kansas City, watched with empathy as the news covered the conditions in both locations. We have endless admiration for their dedication to their diocesan members and to moving forward with their new programs. Congratulations and welcome to the MCFD family!
What does it take to start innovating your own process? First, identify your certification needs. Do you need a Certification Management System created from scratch, or are you looking to quickly create and update online records from years and decades of manually managed certifications?
